Tim Hortons in Keswick, Ontario is hiring a Food Service Supervisor to lead a team in a fast-paced food service establishment located at 24266 Woodbine Avenue, Keswick, ON L4P 3E9.

Work Setting: Food service establishment, on-site customer service. The work site workplace involves odours and hot conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
• Hire food service staff
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Prepare budget and cost estimates
• Address customers complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs,

• Prepare and submit reports
• Must have knowledge of the establishments culinary genres
• Supervise and check assembly of trays
• Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
• Establish work schedules

Supervision: 3–4 people including food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants and food preparers, and kitchen and food service helpers.

Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, standing for extended periods.

Requirements:

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in food service
• Personal suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player

Schedule: Evening, shift work, flexible hours, weekends. Hours: 30 to 44 per week.

Wage: $19.25 per hour.
