This role is responsible for sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience while working closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders.This is an ideal role for someone early in their recruiting career who is highly organized, people-oriented, and interested in growing within talent acquisition and HR.Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & SourcingAssist with full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles across legal, accounting, and financial services teamsSource candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and other creative channelsScreen resumes and conduct initial phone/video interviewsMaintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for active and future rolesImplement strategies to improve recruitment processes and attract talent2. Interview CoordinationSchedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managersPrepare candidates for interviews by providing clear expectations and timelinesEnsure a smooth and professional experience for all candidatesConduct reference checks3.
Candidate ExperienceAct as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring processProvide timely updates and feedback to candidatesMaintain a high standard of professionalism and employer brand representation4. Collaboration with Hiring ManagersWork closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and team needsAssist in drafting and posting job descriptionsSupport hiring managers with candidate shortlists and interview feedback tracking5. Recruitment Operations & ReportingMaintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)Track key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline activity, interview ratios)Support reporting on hiring progress across departments6. Employer Branding & Process ImprovementContribute to job postings, recruitment marketing, and employer branding initiativesIdentify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and efficiencySupport onboarding coordination as neededQualifications & Skills1-2 years of experience in recruitment, HR, or administrative support (professional services experience is an asset)Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneouslyComfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with ATS platforms (or willingness to learn)Key CompetenciesCommunication: Clear, professional, and responsive with candidates and internal teamsOrganization: Able to manage multiple job postings and interview schedulesInitiative: Proactive in sourcing and improving processesConfidentiality: Handles sensitive candidate and company information appropriatelyAdaptability: Comfortable supporting different business units with varying needs
