We operate hospitals, health centres, and community‑based programs throughout the province, delivering high‑quality inpatient, outpatient, academic, tertiary, quaternary, primary, and mental health services.About The OpportunityThe IM/IT Systems Analyst (SA) / Business Analyst (BA) reports to an IM/IT Manager and works under the direction of the IM/IT Lead or Senior Analyst. This role is responsible for requirement gathering, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of clinical information management and technology solutions across NSH, IWK, and external clients. The analyst collaborates with key clinical and business stakeholders province‑wide to support the rationalization of disparate systems and the OPOR strategy. Core tasks include evaluating change requests, data retrieval, troubleshooting application errors, communicating system changes, and maintaining system configuration items in line with best practice and approvals.About YouDegree or diploma in Information Technology, Business Analysis, or Health‑Related discipline. Equivalent training and relevant experience may be considered.1‑3 years’ experience in application programming, systems analysis, business analysis, or systems support.Experience and/or training with healthcare information systems and terminology is an asset.Experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is an asset.Certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL),
Project Management (PMP), and/or organizational change management is an asset.Experience supporting clinical application systems and related services in a complex health care environment is an asset.Ability to troubleshoot, document issues, and implement resolutions.Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.Experience creating summary documentation based on evaluation and analysis is an asset.Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, document, and solve issues.Organizational skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.Ability to clearly communicate NSH vision, mission, and values.HoursCasual position, no guaranteed hours.Compensation and Benefits$34.62 – $43.28 per hour.
