itec group has partnered with a Niagara based client in the search for a Senior Mechanical Designer You’ll lead the design and development of complex pressure vessel systems in a growing, engineering-driven environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring code compliance, supporting projects from concept through fabrication, and mentoring junior team members while working on technically challenging and rewarding projects.Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Design and develop pressure vessels and related mechanical systems in accordance with ASME codesPrepare detailed engineering drawings, models, and documentationPerform calculations, analysis, and design validations for pressure-containing equipmentCollaborate with fabrication, quality, and project teams to ensure design feasibility and executionReview and approve drawings, calculations, and specificationsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and engineersSupport project timelines, budgets, and client requirementsParticipate in design reviews, client meetings, and continuous improvement initiativesMandatory Requirements:Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation5+ years of experience in pressure vessel designStrong knowledge and application of ASME codes (e.G., Section VIII)Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.G., SolidWorks, Inventor,
