Barminco Mining Services Canada Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Person to join our team at the Red Chris Mine in northern British Columbia. Working a FIFO rotation of 14-shifts on and 14-shifts off. Reporting to the Project Manager or designate, the successful candidate will be responsible for the receipt, secure storage, and proper issue of materials and supplies required for operations. They are expected to develop and possess a good working knowledge of inventory control systems, related computer programs, warehouse audits and reviews, client services and interaction, and period and year-end inventory audits. Performing the assigned tasks while meeting safety standards, targets and deadlines to maximize productivity and profitability.Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):Demonstrate commitment to adhere to all Mine site safety rules, procedures andregulations, while ensuring the safety of othersUnload inbound trucks, inspect and receive inbound materials against invoices/purchaseorders; recording shortages andrejecting damaged goodsPut materials away into appropriate storage locations, according to sequence and coding,and report receiving to order originatorHandle internal inquiries and provide assistance in locating materialsPerform inventory cycle counting, ensuring accurate counts, manage stock levels (min/max)and issue stock using a computerized system (Pronto)Inform supervisor of potential production material problems, including delay in shipmentCoordinate deliveries and pickups with logistics teams - preparing bills of lading,



invoices andother shipping documentsPacking goods to be shipped off siteComplete documentation for returned materialsIssue stock, maintain stock levelsManage and maintain ground support orders with the Fore Person and assist with groundsupport transfer to Boxcut as neededPractice good general housekeeping in the work area and equipmentOther duties may be assigned by your Supervisor, as requiredSkills and Experience:Minimum high school diploma or equivalencyInterprovincial Red Seal Parts Technician (Warehouseperson) certification, an asset2-3 years’ experience working in warehousing/inventory management; in an industrial or mine setting is preferredMust maintain a valid Canadian Driver’s License; manual transmission experience is preferredValid forklift certification is preferredAbility and willingness to operate heavy machinery with appropriate on-site trainingProficiency in computer software (e.G., MS Office, ERP systems like Pronto, SAP, Sage) and robust inventory control knowledge.Strong organizational,



planning and time management skillsStrong communications skills and good radio etiquette,Proven ability to recognize and follow verbal and written instructionsBe flexible and willing to assist with a variety of tasks as requiredAbility to learn new tasks quicklyThe ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, cross-cultural environment with high degree of professionalism and self-motivation is essentialEagerness to learn and growWork ConditionsAbility to do shift camp work on a rotational basis (dayshift/nightshift), typically the rotationsare 2 weeks on site (minimum 12-hour days), followed by 2 weeks off – working statutoryholidays as they fall within the rotationWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required tocommunicate, sit, stand, walk, climb, reach, push/pull, manipulate objects and work inawkward positionsDuties may involve moving materials weighing up to 50 poundsManual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination are requiredExtreme weather conditionsNoise level in the work environment is moderate to highWhat we offer:Barminco Mine Services Canada Ltd. can offer you a role where you will be challenged and valued for your skills and experience.
