SUMMIT Inspection Services Ltd. is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis to provide maternity leave coverage.The Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day administrative support to our office and field operations, helping ensure information, documentation, and communication are handled accurately and efficiently. This position is well suited to someone who enjoys a quick-paced workplace, is comfortable managing multiple priorities, and takes pride in providing dependable support to a team.Contract start date: October 2026Contract duration: 18 monthsThis position requires you to be in-office M-FPreferred Experience and Qualifications:Minimum of one (1) year experience in an administrative or similar roleProficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general office softwareKnowledge of clerical practices, procedures, and document control systemsStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a teamExcellent organizational skills with strong attention to detailResponsibilities:Provide general administrative and clerical support to the office and field teamsProvide general clerical and administrative support including typing, data entry, filing, scanning, copying, and emailingMaintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems and document control recordsType, prepare and modify correspondence,
customer specific reports and other documentsProvide general administrative and clerical support including emailing, scanning, faxing and copyingMaintain regular communications with customers via e-mail and telephone on audit related activitiesCreate audit binders and manage the process associatedCreate and edit MS Word and Excel document templates as requiredAbility to maintain, track and file documents on basic databasesAssisting with miscellaneous projects as they arise when necessarySkills:Superior verbal and written communication skillsSuperior attention to detail and accuracyStrong interpersonal skills with professional phone and in-person etiquetteProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general office softwareExcellent grammar, spelling, and written documentation abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities effectivelyStrong reading comprehension and information processing skillsHighly organized, with effective prioritization, planning, and time management skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsQuick to adapt to changing priorities, systems, or work environmentsSelf-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independentlyProven ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
