What you will do:Hourly Bartender – TRR. The Rec Room’s Bartenders are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional dining experience to every guest. The bartender prepares alcoholic drinks and pours wine and beer for patrons of restaurants, bars, cocktail lounges, and other places where drinks are served. The bartender is friendly and helpful, an expert with standard drink recipes, and adaptable to follow guests’ preferences or recipes. In this role, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Taking and filling drink ordersGarnishing and serving drinksCollecting payment and operating POSCleaning the work area by removing empty bottles and trash, replacing empty beer kegs, washing glasses and utensilsMonitoring and maintaining inventory by keeping track of wines, beers, liquors, and ordering bar supplies when required, and stocking the bar by bringing liquor bottles, mixed‑drink ingredients, and other bar supplies from the storeroomMaintaining a safe environment by checking guests’ identification to ensure they meet the minimum drinking age, determining when a customer has had too much alcohol, stopping service, ensuring a safe ride home is arranged, refusing service, and calling the police if necessaryQualifications:High‑School Diploma, G.E.D.
