We offer competitivecompensation for interns, including:Salaries starting from $3,700 per month (based on your year in school and previous experience).Temporary living allowance for interns moving to the area for the role.What You'll DoGain hands-on experience supporting forest planning and operational forestry projects.Assist with planning activities related to harvesting and road construction programs.Create, update, and analyze maps and spatial data used to support forestry decisions.Connect field information with GIS technology to improve the accuracy and accessibility of forest records.Build technical, analytical,



and problem-solving skills while working alongside experienced forestry professionals.What You OfferYou're working toward a degree or diploma in Forestry, GIS, Geography, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Conservation, or a related program.You have experience with GIS tools such as ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, or ArcGIS Online and are comfortable using Microsoft Excel.You can analyze information and communicate your findings clearly, both verbally and in writing.You take ownership of high-quality, timely work and are comfortable solving problems independently.You're physically able to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain conditions and travel to remote operations.You have a valid driver's license.Who We AreAt Interfor, our culture is built on integrity,respect, and collaboration.
