Company: Number of Openings: 1 Worker Type: Permanent Position Overview: At Finning, the world's largest Caterpillar deal, we are looking for two experienced Mining Technical Service Representatives – Shovels and Drills to support our mining customers across Canada.Job DescriptionBuild strong relationships with mining customers and act as a trusted technical advisorSchedule and conduct customer site visits, equipment inspections and technical reviewsAssess shovel and drill machine health and provide detailed analysis and recommendationsPrepare customer reports and communicate opportunities to improve reliability and performanceCoordinate with Finning's Parts and Service teams to ensure required components and support are delivered on timeIdentify potential equipment issues before failures occur and recommend corrective actionCollaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and operational supportQualificationsJourneyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic, Millwright, Engineer, or equivalent mining equipment experienceMinimum 5 years of customer-facing experience in mining, heavy equipment or industrial operationsValid class 5 drivers licenseStrong knowledge of shovels and drillsCaterpillar equipment experience is considered a strong assetExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organization, planning and time management abilitiesStrong focus on safety, quality and customer satisfactionImportant NotesThis position may be based out of Edmonton, AB or British ColumbiaThis position is on a 7x7 shift rotationWhat Does Finning Offer?5.75% Employer paid pension, plus up to 1% additional6% voluntary Employee Share Purchase, earns 2% Finning match100% Employer paid medical benefitsAt Finning, we prioritize creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
