KEY OBJECTIVE: As a key member of commercial underwriting department, you would be responsible for independently managing a Life Sciences renewal portfolio of Property, Casualty & E&O business while also producing some new business. The Life Sciences Underwriter must develop book growth, maintain superior relationships, and will have accountability for overall financial performance of their portfolio.



They will identify opportunities for growth within recent and existing production sources, identify cross-selling opportunities, conduct broker planning/goal setting including monitoring of progress and make regular broker and insured visits. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Underwrite and assess Life Sciences liability, property and E&O exposures for middle market accounts.Analyze submissions and renewals, evaluate risk exposures, and determine appropriate coverage and pricing.Profitably manage an active renewal portfolio and new business pipeline of small to large sized accounts.Contribute to differentiated Customer Retention and Sales results.Develop and establish superior relationships with key brokers and insureds.Collaborate with team members and contribute to an engaging work environment.Monitor booking, retention,
