This role doesn't require extensive experience in sandblasting, but candidates must have some training in heavy equipment and power tools. You will primarily work in a fabrication shop, where safety and teamwork are paramount.Key Responsibilities:Remove dirt, paint, and grease from surfacesOperate and set up blast booth equipmentLoad and unload materials in the blast cabinetAssist with painting or coating tasks as neededPerform related duties as assigned under the Collective AgreementRequirements:High school diploma or GED requiredPrevious sandblasting training or experience preferredAbility to lift materials weighing up to 50 lbsCapable of performing tasks in physically demanding positionsPersonal protective equipment usage requiredBring your skills in blasting and coating to impact future generations through essential infrastructure at Aecon.
