Become a Day Support Counsellor with Community Living Sarnia-Lambton. This flexible, casual position requires staff to provide vital support for individuals in various programs during day and evening shifts.
The Day Support Counsellor role focuses on assisting individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and facilitating community engagement. Open availability from Monday to Friday is essential, with shifts running between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM. Candidates will support program delivery, ensure safety, and help implement Individual Support Plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support for daily living and personal care
• Assist in recreational and educational activities
• Implement Individual Support Plans and document accurately




• Support safe administration of medication
• Collaborate with team members and community partners
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in a relevant field preferred
• Experience with developmental disabilities or personal care
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR certifications
• Current Secure Management certification required
• Access to a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
