RESPONSIBILITIES

- Follow all Workplace Safety procedures
- Follow all Food Safety Program procedures
- Follow all Cleaning and Sanitization procedures
- Clean designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, restroom cleaning, etc.)
- Collect and dispose of all garbage, recycling, and compost
- Clean and sanitize machinery, equipment, tools, etc.
- Maintain cleanliness of plant throughout shift
- Follow all cleaning procedures and schedules
- All other duties as assigned





QUALIFICATIONS

- Basic computer, reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Be familiar with the safe and efficient use of equipment and chemical supplies
- Be familiar with Safety Data Sheets and product labels (WHMIS)
- Previous work experience in the food/manufacturing industry is considered an asset
- Food Safe is an asset, however in-house Food Secure Training will be provided
- Excellent attention to detail
- A good communicator and team player
- Physically capable and energetic
