About the RoleAn established precision manufacturer of high precision aerospace components in the Greater Toronto Area is hiring a Master Scheduler to own master scheduling, capacity planning and work centre scheduling through to final customer delivery. This is a full time, permanent, on site role in North York, Ontario.What You Will DoReporting to the Director of Operations, you will develop and manage production schedules based on customer demand, capacity and material availability, keep scheduling boards current across every machine and work centre, and work cross functionally with engineering, quality, procurement and shipping to keep production flowing on time.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure on time delivery for your assigned customers and parts portfolioDevelop and manage production schedules based on customer demand, capacity and material availabilityPublish weekly schedules and maintain daily scheduling boards across all work centresIdentify bottlenecks and risks and implement corrective actionsManage work orders,



capacity loading and resource allocationCoordinate with engineering, quality, procurement, shipping and program managementOptimize production planning using ERP and MRP systemsMust HavesCertificate or degree in production planning, manufacturing or process engineering, or equivalent experienceMinimum 3 years of master scheduling and planning experience in a full ERP setting, in aerospace, automotive or heavy equipment manufacturingRelated supervisory experienceStrong communication, problem solving and organizational skillsProficiency with MS Project, Excel and similar planning toolsNice to HavesAPICS training or certificationHands on machining or shop floor backgroundWhat's on OfferA key planning role with a well established precision manufacturer, competitive compensation, and the chance to directly influence on time delivery performance for a growing operation.
