Location: Remote (Canada) – Regular Travel to Project Sites Required Salary Range: $125,000 – $135,000 CAD, based on experience Construction Manager Job Summary Reporting to the EVP of Canada, the Construction Manager will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle for various construction initiatives for SmartStop Storage Advisors, LLC within the Canadian portfolio. This is a remote position based in Canada, requiring regular travel to construction and project sites throughout the Canadian portfolio. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Assists in negotiating and issuing prime contracts, subcontracts and purchase orders. Performs all project’s contract administration in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Monitors project costs through change order and contract adjustment procedures. Assists in developing recovery strategy when project schedule or budget are in jeopardy. Reviews and updates schedule, cost forecasts and cash flow requirements with the Construction Team biweekly and with the CIO monthly or when otherwise scheduled.
