Position OverviewSiemens, a leading software organization, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Security Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a company committed to harnessing the power of cloud technologies on our SaaS journey, we seek an experienced professional to ensure the security and integrity of our cloud-based systems that exist in AWS and Azure.ResponsibilitiesDeploy and manage security monitoring tools and services to detect and respond to security incidents in real‑time.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement cloud architectures for security applications and services deployed in AWS and Azure.Conduct security reviews and assessments of existing cloud infrastructure, identifying potential vulnerabilities, proposing mitigation strategies, and implementing solutions according to DevSecOps methodologies.Integrate existing identity and access systems with cloud platforms to establish seamless authentication and authorization processes.Enforce cloud security policies, procedures, and guidelines.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Experience in application support.Experience in public cloud computing.Understanding of cloud security principles, architecture, and best practices.Knowledge of IAM, encryption, network security, and data protection in cloud environments.Experience with cloud‑native security tools and services.Scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, or similar) a plus.Relevant industry certifications (e.G., Microsoft Azure Security Engineer, CISSP, etc.) are a plus.EligibilityQualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. The pay range for this position is $90,000 – $162,000 annually with a target incentive of 3–5% of the base salary.
