Canterra Group has been engaged to recruit an experienced

SeniorProject Manager

for a leading heavy civil contractor in the Lower Mainland.

This is a senior opportunity for a construction professional withsignificant

bridge and heavy civil project experience

who wants to takea leadership role delivering complex infrastructure projects in BritishColumbia.

Our client has an established presence in the BC infrastructure marketand is looking for a Senior Project Manager who can provide leadership acrossall aspects of project delivery—from preconstruction and planning throughexecution, commercial management and closeout.

The Opportunity As Senior Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for thesuccessful delivery of major bridge and heavy civil projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading complex bridge and heavycivil construction projects

Developing project executionstrategies, schedules and budgets

Managing project teams,subcontractors and key stakeholders

Overseeing project cost control,forecasting and financial performance

Managing contracts, changeorders, claims and commercial issues

Working closely with owners,consultants and project partners

Identifying and managing projectrisks

Supporting procurement andsubcontractor negotiations

Providing leadership andmentorship to Project Managers, Project Coordinators and site teams

Ensuring projects are deliveredsafely, profitably and to the required quality standards





Requirements What We're Looking For We're interested in speaking with accomplished Project Managers andSenior Project Managers who have delivered

bridge construction projects inBritish Columbia or comparable Canadian markets .

Ideally, you will bring:

Significant Project Managementexperience within heavy civil construction

Strong understanding of concretestructures and complex civil construction

Experience managing large projectteams and subcontractors

Strong commercial, contractualand cost-management capabilities

Experience dealing directly withowners, consultants and other project stakeholders

A track record of successfullydelivering complex infrastructure projects

Strong leadership andcommunication skills

Experience working on projects for

BC transportation authorities,municipalities or other major public infrastructure owners

would beparticularly relevant.
