Senior Business Analyst (Contract) – Data & Analytics Location: Toronto (4 days onsite, 1 day WFH)Term: 6 months (strong potential for extension)Rate: $75–$90/hour (Incorporated Contractor) Our client is recognized as one of the Top 100 Employers in Toronto (2026) . They are continuing to invest in their data and analytics capabilities and are seeking a Senior Business Analyst who can step in, take ownership, and elevate BA practices across the team. The Opportunity This is not a traditional BA role. We are looking for a proactive leader and robust communicator who can take full accountability for business analysis , drive clarity across stakeholders, and implement best practices across delivery. You will act as the bridge between business, data, and technology teams , ensuring requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and executed. Key Responsibilities Own the BA function across initiatives—driving structure, clarity, and accountability Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, challenge, and define requirements Translate business needs into clear solution requirements, user stories, and tasks (JIRA) Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Developers,



and Architects to deliver data-driven solutions What You Bring 8–10+ years of Business Analysis experience in data, analytics, or system implementations Proven ability to take initiative and lead —not just gather requirements Strong experience with data platforms (data lakes, warehousing) Hands‑on expertise with SQL, Snowflake, and Tableau Advanced skills in process mapping, requirements elicitation, and solution design Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart/Draw.Io Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences Strong stakeholder management—comfortable challenging, influencing, and driving decisions Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast‑paced environment What Sets You Apart You are a self-starter who doesn’t wait for direction You bring structure to ambiguity and drive outcomes You can lead conversations, not just document them You are passionate about building scalable BA practices and improving delivery Additional Details Must be eligible to work in Canada Must operate as an Incorporated Contractor (IC) Subject to a background check #J-18808-Ljbffr
