We’re in an exciting phase of growth, focused on building strong systems, scalable processes, and a high-performing leadership team to support our next chapter.We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead our Finance function and play a key role in shaping the financial foundation of the organization. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with executive leadership, this role blends strategic oversight with hands‑on leadership in a dynamic, multi‑entity environment.The RoleAs the Director of Finance, you will provide financial leadership across the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clarity in reporting while supporting informed decision‑making at the leadership level. You’ll oversee all core accounting functions, guide financial planning and forecasting, and develop a high‑performing finance team that grows with the business.Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do)Provide leadership and oversight of all financial operations, including accounting, payroll, AP/AR, reconciliations, and internal controlsLead month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring timely, accurate financial reportingDevelop and manage divisional budgets, forecasts, and cash flow planningDeliver clear, actionable financial reporting and analysis to executive leadershipAct as the primary liaison for internal and external audits and regulatory complianceEnsure compliance with ASPE/GAAP standards,



tax requirements, and best‑practice financial controlsLead, mentor, and develop the Finance team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementSupport strategic initiatives by aligning financial operations with organizational goals and long‑term growth plansWhat You BringBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA designation strongly preferred5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including senior leadership or Controller‑level responsibilityProven experience in a multi‑entity, high‑growth, or entrepreneurial environmentBackground in construction, manufacturing, or industrial services considered a strong assetStrong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit processes, and risk managementExperience working with ERP systems and advanced ExcelAbility to communicate financial insights clearly to non‑financial leadersHigh integrity, sound judgment, and a collaborative leadership styleWhy Join VacterraCompetitive base salary ($115‑135,000 per annum)20 days paid time off (15 vacation + 5 sick days)Extended health, dental, and vision benefits after 90 daysRRSP matching program after one yearAnnual bonus eligibilityMileage reimbursementCompany‑provided laptop and phone/tabletThis is an opportunity for a strategic, hands‑on financial leader to make a meaningful impact in a growing organization.
