Teach Anti-racist Social Work Practice as a Student Instructor at the University of Manitoba for Winter 2027. This role focuses on course preparation, teaching, and student evaluation during the semester.
The University of Manitoba is seeking a Student Instructor for the SWRK 2000 A01 course, running from January 1 to April 30, 2027. You will be responsible for preparing instructional materials, conducting classes, marking assignments, and providing feedback. Additionally, you will maintain office hours and participate in safety training if a field component is included.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare relevant instructional and testing materials
• Instruct and lead classroom discussions
• Grade exams and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain regular office hours for student consultations
• Develop safety plans if fieldwork is involved
Requirements:
• Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred
• Excellent English communication skills
