Kelly Services' has partnered with a client in Toronto, ON to recruit for a Temp opportunity for Inventory SpecialistRole: Inventory SpecialistContract until December 2026 - Extendable or conversionNumber of Hires: 1Inventory SpecialistMonday-Friday 2pm-10:30pmStart Date: As soon as possiblePay rate: $22/hour + 4% vacation payKey Responsibilities:Follow all site Safety and Security Procedures; perform all assignmentsand tasks in a safe manner and report any unsafe or potentially unsafe working conditions to management immediatelyProvide skilled level of customer service to all internal and external customers and report customer matters and/or concerns to supervisor promptlyEnsure compliance with established internal control procedures and SOPsUnpack purchased material, verify product against packing slip and PO and enter receiving and inventory information into the appropriate software system or systems, including any new part creation as neededIssue materials to client as requested; pulling, staging and kitting material as requiredPlaces received material into proper storage location; perform tagging, repacking, delivering and special handling as necessaryIssue returns for unused material per SOP guidelinesPrepare material for return to vendor and prepare parts to be shipped out for repair,
per SOPsPerform cycle counts and report stock balance discrepancies to Manager and Buyer for resolutionMaintain inventory accuracy by count and location; replace barcodes and process relocations in ERP systemVerify on-hand inventory quantities to accurately identify reorder needs on every itemClean and organize the storeroom on a regular basis, including sweeping, scraping, etc. maintaining minimum standard requiredSupport corporate initiatives and assist with any special projects assignments as requiredPerform other duties as assignedCandidate Requirements:High School Diploma or Equivalent PreferredStrong interpersonal and phone skillsBasic computer proficiency/literacy skills – Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Inventory Management SystemsAbility to learn and demonstrate proficiency in part identificationDetail oriented and well-organizedAbility to follow procedures and meet deadlinesStrong problem analysis and resolution skillsExcellent verbal and written communicationKey Requirements:Exceptional attention to detailInventory management experienceMaintenance parts knowledge is a plusSome French language ability is preferred but not esssentialWhat's In It For You!Weekly pay chequePaid vacation pay and statutory holidaysHundreds of free training courses through our Kelly Learning Center that you can access from home 24/7
