By promoting the values, goals, and philosophy of the Home, the RPN engages in meaningful interactions with residents, families, and team members.ResponsibilitiesProvides direction and supervision to PSWs and team membersOngoing assessment of resident care needs, monitoring and reporting changesParticipates in the development and modification of the resident’s plan of care; assists in implementingand evaluating the effectiveness of the plansSupports/participates in the orientation of new AssociatesAccountable for the medication delivery system for the residents; ensures medications areordered, received, and administered as prescribedLiaisons with residents, families, and outside agencies as requiredRespects the Residents’ Bill of RightsInteracts with residents’ physician as necessaryPromotes a protected, healthy workplacePerforms weights and blood pressure checks as requiredProvides ongoing education to Associates to meet legislative requirements and learning needsFamiliar with responsibilities under the Occupational Health & Safety ActInspires others to be motivated and work with passion,
