Additional hours may be required.Compensation Range: $21.50 - $23.00 per hourStart Date: As soon as possibleNumber of Openings: 2About This OpportunityWe are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Driver to support aggregate, hauling, pit, yard, customer delivery, and civil construction operations.The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles, transporting materials, completing required inspections and paperwork, and supporting day-to-day operations across pits, yards, customer locations, and job sites.This role is well suited for someone with experience in aggregate, construction, hauling, dump truck operations, or similar work environments.Responsibilities:Driving & Hauling Operations:Safely operate company vehicles for aggregate hauling, deliveries, customer work, site support, and general operationsTransport gravel, stone, sand, soil, fill, tools, equipment, supplies, or other materials as requiredHaul materials between pits, yards, customer locations, company property, civil projects, and job sitesComplete loading, dumping, unloading, and material movement activities safely and responsiblyFollow assigned routes, delivery instructions, site rules, traffic plans, and supervisor directionCommunicate with dispatch, supervisors, pit staff, operators, customers, contractors, and other workers as requiredVehicle Inspections & Documentation:Complete required pre-trip inspections, circle checks, post-trip inspections, and vehicle checksReport vehicle defects, maintenance concerns, hazards, incidents, spills, property damage, or near misses promptlyComplete required documentation, including inspection forms, delivery tickets, scale tickets, time records, fuel records, and other company paperworkMaintain assigned vehicles in a clean, organized,
and safe operating conditionComply with applicable road safety, load securement, company, customer, and site requirementsSite, Yard & Operational Support:Work safely around heavy equipment, trucks, pedestrians, customers, contractors, traffic, and changing site conditionsAssist with general pit, yard, shop, fleet, aggregate, customer, or civil construction site duties when assigned and protected to do soSupport loading/unloading activities and material placement as requiredWear required personal protective equipment and participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, training, orientations, and incident investigations as requiredRepresent the company professionally when interacting with employees, customers, contractors, and the publicRequired Skills & Qualifications:Valid driver's licence appropriate for the role, in good standingAcceptable driver's abstract that meets company and insurance requirementsThe company may obtain and review the employee's driver's abstract every three months, or as otherwise requiredPrevious driving, aggregate, dump truck, construction, civil, pit, yard, or similar experience is considered an assetAbility to safely operate assigned vehicles in pits, yards, public roads, customer locations, civil construction sites, and changing weather/site conditionsAbility to complete required inspections, forms, tickets, logs, and paperwork accuratelyReliable, punctual, safety-focused, and able to follow verbal and written instructionsPhysically able to climb in and out of vehicles, inspect vehicles, secure materials, and work outdoorsMust comply with company health and safety requirements and be fit for duty while operating vehicles or performing workKey CompetenciesStrong commitment to safety and responsible vehicle operationReliability, punctuality, and consistent attendanceAbility to follow instructions, site rules, and company proceduresStrong communication skills with supervisors, customers,
