In addition to managing day‐to‐day accounting operations, this individual will liaise with our U.S.-based accounting team on reporting and analysis.The Financial Controller will own several business functions and receive significant exposure to the organization. We are seeking a creative problem solver with a growth mindset, as this opportunity represents a fast track to higher-level accounting and finance opportunities.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage company finance and accounting initiatives, including budget, audit, and month‐end close processes, utilizing U.S. GAAP accountingManage daily accounting functions for: General Ledger, Account Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Invoicing, Fixed Assets, Collections, Monthly Reconciliations, Sales and Use Tax,



and participate in these processes as neededLead and manage Accounting Operations including systems and processes, attaining goals, and managing special projectsMaintain accounting and finance Standard Operating Procedures and develop recommendations for improvement and implementing recent processesOwn financial reporting for internal, corporate, and peer group requirementsPlay an integral hands‐on role in customer billing processes, collections, monthly and annual price changes, and billing‐related incentives and commissionsLiaise for key business relationships such as banking, landlord, vendors, and suppliersOversee relationship with PEO which includes the annual employee benefits renewal and open enrollment processQualificationsSelf‐motivated, analytical, and detail‐oriented problem solverEager to "roll up their sleeves" in an entrepreneurial, high‐growth environmentAble to excel as an individual contributor and take full ownership of responsibilitiesCapable of leading projects from planning through executionComfortable serving as a holding company representative to company employees and leadershipStrong understanding of US GAAP accounting principlesExperience in the MSP (Managed Service Provider) space preferredThis role will operate on a hybrid basis out of Vancouver, BC and will host a base compensation of $80-$90k.If you are a motivated, detail‐oriented professional looking to lead a finance function within the tech space, we'd love to have a conversation with you!#J-18808-Ljbffr
