This role supports production operations, ensures compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 requirements, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesHealth, Safety & ComplianceFollow all company health, safety, and environmental (EHS) proceduresUse personal protective equipment (PPE) as requiredReport unsafe conditions or hazardsInspection & TestingPerform incoming, in-process, first article, and final inspections using standard measuring toolsPerform inspections in accordance with defined sampling plans, inspection standards, and acceptance criteriaConduct dimensional, visual, and functional inspections against drawings and specificationsAccurately Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and BOMsOperate and support CMM equipment (basic execution)Support incoming inspection and supplier quality verification activities (as assigned)Quality System ComplianceExecute quality procedures, inspection plans, and work instructionsMaintain accurate inspection records and documentationEnsure traceability of materials and inspection resultsSupport compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirementsNon-Conformance ManagementIdentify, document, label, and segregate non-conforming product in designated areas (e.G., quarantine/MRB),
support disposition per procedure and place product on hold when requirements are not metParticipate in root cause analysis (e.G., 5 Why, Fishbone) and support corrective and preventive actions implementationStop inspection release and escalate product/process risk to Quality/Engineering/Production leadership as requiredMeasurement Systems & CalibrationUse and verify inspection equipment in accordance with calibration requirementsSupport Gage R&R and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) activitiesEnsure proper handling and care of measuring equipment and toolsData Collection & ReportingCollect and record inspection results and quality dataSupport Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities by collecting, recording, and interpreting process data under guidance, and escalating abnormal trendsPrepare inspection reports and quality documentationWork within defined procedures and escalate non-conformances, abnormal trends, and complex issues to Quality/Engineering/Production leadership as requiredMaintain confidentiality and integrity of quality and inspection dataCross-Functional SupportWork with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve issuesProvide feedback on product and process quality concernsSupport new product/process introduction activitiesCollect and compile operational and quality data to support production planning and process improvementAssist in developing manufacturing or quality procedures and specificationsTraining & Continuous ImprovementAssist in training operators on inspection methods, quality standards, and proper use of measurement equipmentParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives (6S, Lean), contributing to defect reduction, process stability, and operational efficiencyISO ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements for product conformity, process control, and documented informationMaintain traceability and integrity of inspection and test recordsSupport internal and external audits by providing objective evidence and participating in corrective action follow-upAdhere to ISO 17025 principles for measurement accuracy, calibration,
