Data Entry Technicians work individually and in a team environment. These positions are located at the O.S. accuracy and organizational skills when managing large volumes of dataCritical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and investigate data-related issues and provide recommendations for resolutionDirectly related biological laboratory experience via technical college or university.Minimum recruitment standards outline the minimum education and experience required for appointment to a job classification.NotesThis competition is recruiting for a Data Entry Technician with weekly work hours up to 36.25, Monday to Friday. The Data Entry Technicians are based in Edmonton, working closely with Alberta Agriculture laboratory staff and overseen by the Wildlife Disease Specialist of Fish and Wildlife Stewardship. This position requires you to be physically present at the worksite located at the OS Longman Laboratory Building, 6909 116 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6H 4P2. This position has an estimated employment term of October 26th, 2026, to March 31, 2027.
