Our global network includes facilities in Canada, the United States and Hungary ensuring regional expertise and global strength.The Position:A Project Procurement Lead at Eclipse Automation is accountable to facilitate the purchase, scheduling and delivery of materials to various projects on schedule, while collaborating cross-functionally with a variety of other Eclipse employees. Within this fast-paced environment, consistent management, escalation and resolution of project risks are paramount to success.What You'll Do Here:Facilitate the quoting process for development of the project parts requirements as well alignment of technical and schedule needs in the quoting processFacilitate the direct purchases and internal manufacture of materials utilizing MRP functionality for defined projectsWork with the supply chain and manufacturing teams to ensure project schedules are achievedEnsure continuity of supply while escalating constraints as appropriate through effective risk managementDevelop and maintain effective business relationships with critical supplier partnersEstablish baseline material schedules to meet project timelinesFacilitate the creation of project specific supply chain strategies to meet project schedules and budgetsManagement and implementation of all engineering change requestsDevelopment, maintenance, and communication of project part risk statusesSupport the project team in early project development, through scheduling, BOM development,



and material releaseNegotiate vendor commercial agreements, product specifications, and technical specifications in alignment with proposalFacilitate and/or attend factory acceptance testing for high value or critical items at vendor locations to ensure readiness and alignment with delivery requirementsFacilitate cross functional conversations with suppliers for design, quality or escalation requirementsDevelop a positive understanding of the supply base and the associated technologies within your projectsKeep abreast of current and emerging technologies as well as their business implications for awareness for the technical teamsAttend all project meetings representing supply chain managementAbility to travel globally, not to exceed 20% of timeWhat We're Looking For:Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related discipline (materials management, supply chain management or business)Industry Certifications considered an asset (CSCMP, CPIM, CSCP, CCLP, etc.)Minimum of 3 years of progressive supply chain management or planning experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience directly managing material procurement and associated suppliers or planning of a manufacturing environmentExcellent negotiation skills a mustIntermediate level skills required in MS Office (Word, Excel,
