Substitute Administrator Coverage (Building Principal)The District is seeking internal candidates interested in serving as a Substitute Administrator to provide day-to-day coverage in the event a building Principal is out of the building.Assignment: Substitute Administrator (Principal Coverage)Rate: $200 per coverage dayEligibility: Internal employees only; NJDOE Principal or Supervisor certificate requiredOverview:Substitute Administrator coverage will be used on an as-needed basis to ensure continuous building leadership and operational oversight when Principal coverage is needed in the building. The assigned individual will support daily administration, student and staff supervision,



and urgent decision-making as needed.Responsibilities May Include:Providing in office administrative oversight for the school daySupporting staff and addressing student matters that require immediate administrative attentionResponding to parent or operational issues that arise during the dayCoordinating with central administration, if neededEnsuring normal building operations continue smoothlyPreferred Qualifications:Prior leadership or supervisory experienceStrong communication and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of district procedures and school operationsThis posting is for an as-needed coverage pool.
