The Personal Aide reports to the leadership team and is expected to support residents with personal care and daily living activities while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. A key part of your role will be to provide compassionate support, promote dignity, and actively engage residents in meaningful daily routines.

Wage Rate: The starting wage rate is $19.407/hour

Responsibilities:

- Assisting residents with personal care such as toileting, bathing, and dressing as needed or requested
- Responding to resident call bells in a timely manner




- Assisting with meals and feeding as required
- Performing light housekeeping duties including changing garbage, linens, and maintaining resident suites
- Completing scheduled deep cleaning of resident suites
- Following care plans and reporting any changes in resident condition or behaviour to the UCP or Charge Nurse
- Completing both paper and electronic documentation as assigned
- Supporting a safe, clean, and comfortable living workplace for residents
- Respecting resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times
- Performing delegated tasks and supporting the care team as needed

Qualifications: The qualifications needed to join our family are as follows:

- PSW Certification not required but preferred
- Experience in Retirement or Long-Term Care preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Demonstrates empathy, compassion, and a genuine interest in resident care
- Strong organizational skills and ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically and mentally able to perform assigned duties
