Explore the fundamentals of psychology with our Introduction to Psychology course at the University of Current Brunswick in Fredericton. This fall term class offers a comprehensive overview of psychological perspectives and methods.
This face-to-face course (PSYC 1013 1A) runs from September 9 to December 21, 2026. Students will engage in learning and research activities, enhancing their understanding of cognitive, biological psychology, and memory. A total of 3 credit hours can be earned through active participation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach a general survey of psychology concepts
• Facilitate various learning activities for students
• Guide research project participation
• Assess student progress and participation
• Engage in classroom discussions and activities
Requirements:
• PhD candidate or PhD in Psychology
• Strong knowledge of learning and memory theories
• Experience in teaching psychology at the university level
• Ability to foster active student participation
• Preference for Canadian citizens or permanent residents
