You will be responsible for winter and seasonal maintenance of the SYD highways using various heavy equipment. Watch Ledcor's Innovation, Culture and Community video to see what it's like working for Ledcor. http://www.Youtube.Com/watch?v=mdhNKGIZL4cEssential Responsibilities:Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment as requiredPerform highway maintenance tasks including assisting with labor duties (crack sealing, pothole repair, bridge and signage cleaning, hazard remediation, etc.)Qualifications:Successful completion pre-employment drug and alcohol testingAbility to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs. and working outside in all weather conditionsValid Class 1 or 3 driver's license with air endorsementClear 3-year driver's abstractPrevious experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong assetWork Conditions:As we respond to various weather patterns, some shift work, on-call,
and night shift will be required.Benefits and RSPs provided by CLAC unionLocal applicants only (No camp)CompensationCompensation $30.76 - $37.72 per hour This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level, industry experience, and work location.
