Colleagues can also contribute directly to a TFSAFlexibility in How We WorkOption of compressed work schedule supports work/life interestsCompetitive annual vacation time off and additional time off during holiday closureGrowth and RecognitionComprehensive colleague recognition program and bonus programTraining and support for professional development and professional membership duesDescriptionIn this role, you will:Assist as required in the day‑to‑day operations of inventory control for specialized and non‑specialized aviation parts, materials and equipment required for the maintenance of aircraft.Monitor and maintain inventory stock levels using WinAir Inventory software including expired parts and calibrated toolsRequire a high level of attention to detailReceive, issue, return and store parts, tools and material using approved processesPackage and ship parts, tools and shop suppliesRetrieve and deliver shipments and documents as needed, including to basesDeliver and return parts and material to the Stores room and hangarProvide support in the inventory count processProvide support for Aviation Parts Purchaser when requiredParticipate in after‑hours on‑call rotation during aircraft deploymentOperate material handling equipment such as forkliftsReport safety hazards or concerns through the Safety Management System (SMS)Maintain a clean and tidy Stores department and work area through general housekeeping,



organization and constructing or modifying storage racks as neededParticipate in all training needs as assigned (Human Factors, Ladder & Lifting, WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, AVOP, and others as needed)Report directly to the Aviation Service ManagerOccasional travel – both locally and across CanadaPerform other duties as deemed necessary to support the business as assigned by the Aviation Service Manager or delegateBe eligible for Canadian Controlled Goods clearances, Airport Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) and attain an Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit (AVOP)The ideal candidate brings:A high school diploma or equivalent (College or University diploma would be an asset)Two to three years of experience in an inventory management workplace in an aviation settingAn unrestricted valid class 5 driver’s licenceKnowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs)Experience in the following areas:Methods and practices used to receive, store, issue, transport and distribute materialData entryStock control and inventory managementControl of and understanding of aviation documentationWHMIS training is an asset (annual training is provided)WinAir 7 experienceIndustrial and Financial Systems (IFS)Superior verbal and written communication skillsFooterBabcock is committed to promoting a workforce without boundaries.
