The essential function of this position is to proactively prevent rejections.Shift: Midnight shift 11pm-7am 5-6 days a weekWage: $ 19.20/hrThis opening is for a current vaccancyFull time permanentPrimary ResponsibilitiesEnsure that all product meets or exceeds customer specificationsEnsure allocation is followed, validate correct product is pulled and shipped to customerEnsure that all QA functions are being performed and documented in an accurate and proficient mannerAssist Quality Control Inspection Supervisor to ensure that all product inspections are being performed, labeling specification are adhered to, and non-conformance product is pulled and correctedFlex between the shipping dock, receiving dock and production to assist Quality Control Inspection Supervisor with quality issues and/or inspectionsReport any exceptions to the customer specifications to Quality Control Inspection SupervisorSend out Quality Issues Emails for Non-Compliant ProductOversee floor operations when the Quality Control Inspection Supervisor is unavailableRemember recent rejections and rejection trendsEnsure product packaging is in presentable condition for our customersEnsure presentation is of highest standardsPerform any other quality control related tasks or special projects as assignedProvide training when requiredOperate forklift or pallet jack as requiredEducation / Background Requirements1 Year College degree or 6 months of experience in a related field requiredPrevious experience in produce industry preferredSpecific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities RequiredMust sign a confidentiality agreement upon hireMust be a self-starter and willing to work versatile hoursProficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionallyProficient in computer-use skills (MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Strong organizational, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
