In this role, you will be responsible for keeping kitchens clean and organized, under the guidance of the Dining Services Manager. A passion for helping seniors combined with your experience in dishwashing or kitchen assistance will enhance our residents' dining experience. Your role will directly impact our commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean dishes, pots, and utensils following sanitation protocols
• Monitor dish machine temperatures twice daily
• Use chemicals safely in dishwashing areas
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including mopping floors
• Assist with dining room bus service and vacuuming
Requirements:
• Minimum grade 12 education
• Preferred 1 year in kitchen helper or dishwashing
• Effective communication in English
• Dependable and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work in fast-paced, humid conditions
