What You'll Actually Do You’ll work closely with the Director, Accounting and Finance to turn financial data into insight. Day-to-day, you'll process journal entries and analyze financial performance across the business, track revenue and cost drivers, support forecasting and budgeting, and enhance financial models that help leadership make better decisions. But the role goes deeper than traditional financial analysis. You'll also help us improve how financial data flows through the firm. You’ll assist with building smarter dashboards. You’ll improve reporting processes. You’ll assist with connecting financial insights with operational performance. Some of the things you'll work on: Timely and accurate posting of journal entries and accruals Financial reporting and variance analysis across the firm Support forecasting and financial modeling Revenue and cost analysis across practice groups and operations teams Support enhancing dashboards and financial reports that leadership actually uses Identifying inefficiencies and opportunities within financial processes Supporting strategic decisions with explicit, data-driven insights This Role Is For You: You think in numbers and systems. You are highly comfortable with technology and data tools. Spreadsheets are second nature, and you pick up new platforms quickly. You are naturally curious. When something in the data looks off, you investigate until you understand why. You communicate clearly. You can translate complex financial analysis into insights that non-finance teams understand. You enjoy improving processes. If a report takes three hours to build manually, your instinct is to figure out how to automate it. You’re comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where the business is growing and evolving. This Role Is Not For You If:

You prefer strictly defined tasks with little ambiguity. You are only interested in historical reporting rather than forward-looking analysis. You dislike working with new technology or learning new systems. You prefer working in large corporate environments where processes are already fully built. What You'll Get Real influence. Your analysis will directly support decisions made by firm leadership. We invest heavily in technology and structured operations. A company that’s scaling. Property Law is building the operational infrastructure to scale legal services nationally. Finance plays a critical role in that growth. As the firm grows, strong performers will have the opportunity to grow into senior finance and strategy roles. The Practical Stuff Location: Oakville, Ontario Hours: Standard business hours Compensation: $50,000-$70,000 - Competitive for the GTA market, based on experience Experience: 2–5+ years in financial analysis, finance, accounting, or a similar role Comfort with financial systems and data tools Experience in professional services, banking, fintech, SaaS, or similar environments is an asset (legal experience not required) Assessment: As part of our hiring process, candidates may complete a short practical exercise so we can see how you think and approach real problems. About Property Law Property Law is a national residential real estate law firm operating across Ontario and Alberta. We are not a traditional law firm. We operate using structured operations, purpose-built technology, and a service-driven model to deliver legal services at scale. Our operations, finance, and technology teams work together to build the infrastructure that powers that growth. We're building something different and we're looking for people who want to build it with us. #J-18808-Ljbffr
