Reporting to the Senior Manager, Investment Accounting, the Senior Analyst is responsible for delivering accurate and timely preparation of financial reporting and accounting close processes, and the execution of procedures relevant to investment entities and certain investment business units. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, preferably with private investments and other financial instruments,



an interest in finance systems and internal controls over financial reporting. In this role you will contribute expertise, a desire to build a team community and an eagerness to be a part of a collaborative cross-functional investment finance team. You will be responsible to: Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, variance analyses, investment roll forwards, and supporting workpapers, performing reasonableness and completeness reviews. Prepare and review financial statements and schedules, note disclosures, tax filings, audit support and other external reporting deliverables. Research and draft accounting considerations and position papers for investment entity activities. Manage general ledgers for legal entity reporting and consolidated ledgers for OMERS financial records. Identify opportunities and leverage technology and automation tools to improve close efficiency, workpaper design, disclosure support, data quality, and process consistency while ensuring appropriate internal control.
