Each year, our innovative surgery techniques and outstanding cardiology interventions attract hundreds of visiting professors and trainees from around the globe.Union: Non-UnionNumber of vacancies: 1New or Replacement Position: NewSite: Toronto General HospitalDepartment: Peter Munk Cardiac Centre, Vascular Ultrasound LaboratoryReports to: Nurse ManagerSalary Range: $37.47 to $46.84Hours:37.5 hours per weekShifts: Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 4.00pmStatus: CasualClosing Date: September 11, 2026DutiesPerforms Duplex vascular ultrasound imaging procedures as outlined in the procedure manuals for all tests to aid in patients' diagnoses and/or treatmentOperates, troubleshoots and ensures ultrasound, medical imaging and ancillary equipment are performing in an effective and productive mannerPrepares/writes/documents and does OHIP billing for all procedures and test resultsParticipates in teaching, educational, research, safety and quality improvement programs/activitiesPerforms other related patient care responsibilities to facilitate the provision of optimal patient careObserves and understands Hospital and departmental policies and procedures; adheres to Hospital anddepartmental mission and value statements while maintaining patient confidentialityAt minimum, completion of a 3 year community college program in Ultrasound or recognized equivalentCompletion of a recognized post diploma Ultrasound program,
