ResponsibilitiesGreet and welcome patients prior to protesting.Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar as needed.Verify and update patient information in the electronic health records system Visual Eyes.Assist patients with filling out necessary forms and documents.Pretest patients prior to seeing the doctors.Maintain a clean and organized work and waiting area.Coordinate with the Optometrists and other team members to ensure efficient patient flow.Perform other optical duties as needed.QualificationsOptometric Assistant or MOA is a plus.Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting or in a face paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in using office software (e.G.,
