Apply today and help us keep the Sudbury mining community running strong.Reports to:General SupervisorShift:5x2, Monday‑FridayAllowances:This role is eligible fora dditional premiumsSafety Sensitive:Yes- drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be requiredTravel:Up to 50% travel required for this roleRelocation:This role is not eligible for relocationKey Job ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance, repairs, and servicing on underground mining equipment including LHDs, haul trucks, jumbos, and boltersDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systemsReplace or adjust components and parts to restore equipment performanceWork directly at customer sites, ensuring timely and effective serviceUphold and contribute to a robust safety‑first culture in every taskQualifications/RequirementsValid 421A Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification (Red Seal is an asset)Proven experience with underground mining equipment is requiredAbility to travel and work overtime as neededNo restrictions for accessing any mine sitePhysically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs unassistedStrong diagnostic skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systemsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsDetail‑oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountabilitySelf‑motivated, adaptable, and able to manage shifting prioritiesStrong problem‑solving skills and a results‑driven mindsetComfortable working independently or as part of a teamProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsAdditional InformationThis posting reflects an existing vacancy within our organization.
