About the RoleAs a Sport Program Assistant, you will be at the centre of the action: setting up drills, running sport programs, engaging with youth, and generally bringing a positive, welcoming attitude to the space.ResponsibilitiesMake MLSE LaunchPad the best place it can be.Foster a culture of warmth, acceptance, and fun while ensuring adherence to expectations, and prioritizing respect and kindness.Support the set‑up and execution of in‑person MLSE LaunchPad Sport‑For‑Development programs, including designing, implementing, and evaluating age‑appropriate activities that meet core programming standards.Prioritize safety and fun: ensure all youth are physically and mentally safe during programming and keep fun at the forefront of every activity.Participate in special projects and other related duties as required.Live and model MLSE LaunchPad’s core values in all interactions with youth and staff.QualificationsStrong desire to improve your community by working with young people.Excitement to interact with diverse communities, partners, and volunteers.Background or familiarity with youth sport, recreation,
