Enhance patient cardiac evaluations as an Advanced Registered Cardiology Technologist with Nova Scotia Health in Halifax. Utilize advanced diagnostic tests to support patient care in a full time, temporary position. As part of the OPCZ Cardiac Electrodiag Unit, this role involves preparing patients and performing key cardiac diagnostic tests, including electrocardiograms and stress testing.

The position also allows for mentorship opportunities, sharing your expertise with recent team members. Excellent communication and adaptability are essential to thrive in this energetic environment. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct various noninvasive cardiac diagnostic tests
Perform electrocardiograms and Holter monitoring




Support physician-assisted stress testing procedures
Mentor and precept new learners in the department
Prepare patients and ensure their comfort during procedures

Requirements:
Grade 12 and completion of a Cardiology Technology program
Current registration with Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists
BLS (HCP) certification required
Adaptable to flexible workloads and stress
Bilingual in French is an asset
