Job Title: Accounting Technician

Location: Montreal / Laval, QC (On-site)

About Us

D&R; Services and Only Fresh Food are growing businesses in manpower services and food importing/distribution. We're looking for an experienced Accounting Technician to manage the day-to-day finances across both companies.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for the full accounting cycle for two active businesses — keeping the books accurate, organized, and up to date. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants a stable role with room to grow as the companies expand.

Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for both businesses
Handle bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
Prepare financial statements and monthly reports
Process payroll and ensure remittances are filed on time
Track invoices, expenses, and budgets across both companies
Prepare documents for tax filings and work with external accountants as needed
Maintain organized financial records and support audits when required

Qualifications




Experience as an accounting technician, bookkeeper, or in a similar role
Comfortable managing the finances of more than one business at a time
Solid knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
Good communication skills in English and/or French
DEC or certificate in Accounting/Finance is an asset
