Job Overview

Lakeside Eco-Sports is looking for an enthusiastic Tour Guide to lead guests on winter e-bike tours, hiking tours, and other winter outdoor activities provided by the company. This role focuses on providing a safe, engaging, and memorable experience while sharing the natural beauty of the region with visitors.

Training on company tours and procedures will be provided.

Responsibilities
Lead e-bike and hiking tours in a protected and engaging manner
Support other guided activities organized by Lakeside Eco-Sports
Provide safety briefings and ensure guests follow safety guidelines
Assist guests with e-bike operation and equipment use
Share information about the local area, nature, and points of interest
Adapt tour pace to suit the group and maintain a positive guest experience
Prepare and check equipment before and after tours
Report any safety concerns or equipment issues

Requirements




Friendly and outgoing with strong communication skills
Comfortable leading groups in outdoor settings
Confident and experienced riding e-bikes, with strong bicycle handling skills
Positive physical fitness and ability to hike and cycle for extended periods in cold weather
Ability to follow company safety protocols and risk management procedures
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (22 kg)

Training

Training will be provided on:
Tour routes and procedures
E-bike safety and operation
Customer service standards
Safety and emergency protocols

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal

Pay: $22.00 per hour
