The Position:

Order Management Logistics Specialist

Reports to the Office Team Lead.

Full-time on-site position located in Brampton, ON.

You:

The ideal candidate is a highly organized problem solver, who is detail oriented, and has the desire to excel.

You will be an key part of a small yet nimble team that runs our company's HQ office functions (accounting, logistics, order management).

Responsibilities:
Obtain the best freight quotes and book cost-effective transportation.
Coordinate shipments to meet customer delivery deadlines.
Maintain and troubleshoot EDI order flow.
Investigate deductions & penalties related to transportation.
Prepare shipping and ASN documentation accurately and on time.
Document company procedures and reference guides in writing.
Assist front reception, when requested.




Support our team in a variety of office admin tasks, when requested.

Required Competencies:
Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain a calendar, and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and computer skills (Excel, EDI, Sage).
Willingness to pick up the phone to contact people quickly.
Honest, hardworking, ethical, positive attitude.
Experience in the transportation industry is preferred.
Experience with EDI ordering systems preferred.
Own vehicle, able to commute to work easily.
