As a QA/QC Technician, you help ensure that every product leaving our facility meets the highest standards of food safety, quality, and integrity.About the RoleReporting to the QA/QC Manager, the QA/QC Technician is responsible for daily monitoring of facility operations, personnel practices, and product compliance. and analyze internal and external testing resultsExtract and trend ATP swab results; report deviations immediatelyPrepare and ship samples to external laboratories; maintain professional communication with lab partnersMaintain and coordinate special sampling programs for company and customer requirementsSupport nutritional compliance testing and coordinate sample submissionsEnsure finished product testing, hold, and release procedures are followedPerform internal physical and chemical testing according to specificationsConduct calibration and verification of equipment; coordinate external calibration needsParticipate in validation studies and internal/third-party auditsAssist with investigations of non-conformances and deviationsMaintain lab supplies and order consumables as neededSupport QC Technicians on the production floor with specification implementationAct as backup for sanitation efficacy monitoring (ATP, T0 swabbing, visual inspections)Perform other duties as assigned by the QA/QC ManagerRequirementsFluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)QC-related college courses and/or relevant professional experienceAbility to stand for long periods and work Monday-SaturdayStrong organizational skills, reliability, and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentWorking ConditionsMeat packaging and food manufacturing environmentPhysically demanding, fast-paced workCold/refrigerated conditionsRepetitive hand use (grasping, pushing, pulling, fine manipulation)Our Commitment to InclusionWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity, dignity, and respect in the workplace.
