Join the Manitoba government's Finance Department as an Access Analyst, where you'll analyze access-related matters to enhance transparency. This full time role supports compliance with The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. In this critical role within the Access and Privacy Branch, you'll assess government practices to ensure adherence to applicable access laws.
As an Access Analyst, your contributions will guide whole-of-government policy development and promote a culture of transparency. Collaborate with the Practice and Project Lead to manage access-related risks effectively. Key Responsibilities:
Analyze access requests and compliance issues
Assess practices against access information laws
Advise on complex access-related matters
Collaborate in policy development initiatives
Cultivate transparency throughout government
Requirements:
Degree in social sciences or related field
Experience with FIPPA or similar legislation
Proven leadership and negotiation skills
Solid verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
