Position: Parts Person

Location: Prince George, BC

Job Description and Responsibilities:

· Sell parts for heavy trucks and trailers in a retail setting

· Assisting customers and technicians in identifying parts requirements

· Telephone sales support

· Back counter shop support

· Ordering, shipping and receiving of parts

· Maintaining inventory

· Assisting with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays

· Assisting in keeping Parts Dept. clean and orderly

Qualifications:

· Professional attitude, positive communication and customer service skills

· Background experience in the automotive/trucking industry

· Mechanically inclined in relationship to the trucking industry

· Knowledge of a parts department within a truck dealership

· Experience with computers/internet to search vendor websites for parts schematics

· Ability to learn and utilize Dealer Business Management software.

· Candidate with Parts Certification Certificate (Red Seal) preferred





Compensation:

· This is a full time position

· Compensation commensurate based on experience
