Maguire Excavating Ltd is currently seeking individuals for construction labour to work in our well established company. We are a civil excavation contractor located in Saint John, Current Brunswick. Our customers are commercial, institutional and industrial as well as residential. We offer competitive wages and a safe work environment. Working hours would usually be 8 to 10 hours, Monday to Friday. Hourly rate is depending on experience level.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with site preparation, including clearing, grading, and setting up work areas for excavation, concrete, and asphalt projects
Perform pipe laying and assist with trenching, bedding, and backfilling in accordance with project specifications
Assist with landscape installation and site restoration
Operate basic hand tools and small equipment safely and effectively
Support traffic control and site safety measures when required
Conduct work in compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations




Assist other crew members as needed to support overall project completion

Requirements:
Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established safety procedures and policies
Ability to work with others to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and varying job site environments
Valid driver’s license and previous work in the construction industry would be an asset
Dependable, punctual, and hardworking with a positive attitude
Relevant hands on experience and skilled references will be the primary factors considered during the selection process.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
