Overview

We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our manufacturing team, dedicated to creating high-quality furniture and custom upholstery pieces. This role involves transforming raw materials into finished products through precise craftsmanship, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will possess a robust mechanical aptitude, woodworking skills, and experience with construction and machining processes. Duties
Measure, cut, and assemble upholstery materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment to meet design specifications.
Use forklifts and warehouse equipment to transport heavy materials safely within the workspace.
Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment used in upholstery fabrication.
Perform heavy lifting tasks to handle large or bulky materials efficiently and safely.
Assemble furniture frames, attach upholstery fabric or leather, and secure components with appropriate fasteners.




Collaborate with team members on project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized work setting adhering to safety regulations.

Experience
Proven experience in upholstery manufacturing or related construction fields.
Strong woodworking skills with familiarity in machining processes.
Experience operating forklifts, power tools, and hand tools.
Mechanical knowledge related to furniture assembly and material handling.
Warehouse experience heavy lifting procedures.
Background in manufacturing environments emphasizing quality control and safety standards.
Knowledge of construction techniques relevant to furniture or fixture assembly.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
