Duties
Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning to meet daily menu needs
Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc.
Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrées etc
Assist in assembling dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, utensils, and storage areas
Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures at all times
Support cooking processes by monitoring timers, temperatures, and cooking stages under supervision




Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure the kitchen runs efficiently throughout service
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc
Occasionally takes on extra or other duties as required
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and excellent service delivery

Skills
Prior food service experience, especially in restaurant or kitchen settings, is highly preferred
Solid knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices
Ability to perform food preparation tasks quickly and accurately under pressure
Familiarity with basic cooking techniques and meal assembly processes
Excellent attention to detail to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
Good communication skills for effective teamwork in a busy environment
Enthusiasm for learning new culinary skills and advancing within the food industry

Pay: $20.00 per hour
